Local Galleries
Over the last century many famous artists have spent time on the Riviera, inspired by the light, the environment and the ambience. Picasso, Matisse, Chagall all spent years here and each have local museums dedicated to showing their work as does Fernand Leger. In addition, the Fondation Maeght has a wonderful collection of works by artists they worked with including Giacommetti, Calder, Bonnard, Braque, Chagall, Leger, and Miro. We propose to organise visits to a selection of these museums to develop the ideas started in the workshops and inspire your creativity. The galleries have impressive permanent collections as well as exciting temporary exhibitions.
